    Before you start

    Split tones into black or white

    • Threshold compares each pixel’s luminance with one cutoff and outputs pure black or pure white.
    • A higher threshold makes more pixels black. Grayscale keeps intermediate shades.
    • The hard cutoff discards intermediate tones, while transparent pixels remain transparent in supported formats.
