    Before you start

    Turn color into continuous gray tones

    • The amount control blends each visible pixel toward a luminance-based gray; 100% removes visible color.
    • Use Grayscale when shades of gray should remain. Threshold produces only pure black or pure white.
    • Dimensions stay the same, and pixel effects support images up to 25 million pixels.
