Before you start

Blur softens pixels but does not securely hide them

  • Blur applies a chosen pixel radius to one rectangular region and leaves the rest of the output unchanged.
  • Use it for a visual softening effect; use Redact Image when sensitive details must be covered.
  • A blurred area can still reveal shapes or text, so review the result before sharing.
